The MIT English as a Second Language Program for Service Employees is looking for volunteers to tutor night shift Facilities Dept. service employees one hour/week or to fill in for the regular weekly tutors as needed.  Tutoring is held remotely from 11:00 pm – midnight weekday nights
No experience is required, just a good command of English and an interest in helping individuals whose first language is not English. The goals of the program are to build student’s confidence, to help them become more productive in their jobs, and to perhaps open up further opportunities for advancement.   All tutoring is done remotely at this time.  The semester runs through the week of Dec. 13.

This is an opportunity to make a real and positive difference.
