My name is Maria Salmeron Melendez and I am a the PKG Fellowships GA at MIT Public Service Center. We are gearing up for the Davis Projects for Peace Fellowship deadline and would be extremely grateful if you could help me spread the word to your student networks. This is a marvelous resource for undergraduate students looking to further develop ideas they explored through your programs. The PKG Center administers the award at MIT, and we're happy to meet with students who have questions or want feedback on their ideas! Information on the fellowship can be found below.

Davis Projects for Peace $10,000 Fellowship
Deadline to apply for summer funding: Monday, January 31, noon
Davis Projects for Peace offers a $10,000 fellowship for an MIT undergraduate student project that promotes peace. The aim is to “encourage and support today's motivated youth to create and try out their own ideas for building peace.” Projects must be implemented during the summer of 2022.
Past MIT projects have included:

* supporting youth in developing games that encourage empathy and non-violence

* bridging partisan divides in the US
*
*
* supporting post-conflict community development
*
*
* developing computational tech to support justice and fair processes
*
Applications from student groups and individuals are welcome. The recipient must be an MIT undergraduate (including seniors), but a team may include graduate students or others.
