    A full-time research assistant is needed to contribute to state-of-the-art research projects related
    to stem cell models of cardiac development and congenital heart disease and cardiac tissue
    engineering. Basic molecular biology skills (e.g. PCR, gel electrophoresis, DNA purification,
    etc.) and experience working with pluripotent stem cells will be taught if not already proficient
    before starting. Job duties include cell culture, maintaining human induced pluripotent stem cell
    lines, CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing, DNA purification, PCR, RNA expression analysis,
    immunostaining, 3D bioprinting, computer assisted designing, and manuscript
    editing/preparation. Some administrative duties such as supply ordering, tracking, stocking, and
    lab management tasks will be required. Applicant must have excellent communication and
    organizational skills and great attention to detail. Successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s
