CAPD Student Leader Opportunities
CAPD has over 15 paid student leadership opportunities for the 2021-22 academic year. These roles include Peer Career Advisors<https://app.joinhandshake.com/jobs/4531926/share_preview>, Fall Career Fair Series Student Directors<https://app.joinhandshake.com/jobs/4510902/share_preview>, and Career Exploration Student Leaders (TBA). These opportunities are excellent for students seeking to develop their communication, interpersonal, project management, and teamwork skills. The roles all offer the opportunity to help peers with career exploration and job hunting.
Please help us recruit students by sharing our feature article “Build Your Resume – Work at CAPD”<https://capd.mit.edu/build-your-resume-work-capd> through your communication channels with students. The article offers more specifics on each role and includes details on how to apply. We also welcome referrals and would be happy to personally outreach to the students you think would be a great fit.
Fall 2021 Career Fair Planning Update
Planning will soon begin for offering a series of virtual fairs this coming Fall semester. These virtual fairs may be supplemented by some in-person recruiting events if permissible by MIT. Based on student, employer, and academic department feedback, we anticipate reducing the quantity of virtual fairs. Once our new Fall Career Fair Series Student Directors are hired, we will begin to work on the virtual fair specifics, with the goal of opening employer registration in June. As was done last year, we will be looking to academic departments and administrators for feedback and assistance to ensure that the fair model serves all student needs at MIT. We plan to be in touch with more updates and opportunities for you all to offer ideas and suggestions.
As always - Stay connected to CAPD through Slack!

Best,
Tamara
