Hoping you can forward this email to the graduate and undergraduate students in your program. There are 2 Sloan all-remote law courses offered this spring designed for the entire MIT community (with many non-Sloanies enrolled). This year (for the first time) students will be admitted up to the March 19 Add deadline (because recordings make catch-up possible). No need to have participated in Sloan bidding. The courses:
• 15.618/6181. Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Startups and the Law. John Akula.
Th 7-8:30pm. 6 units. P/D/F. Key legal issues in launching, financing, growing, and exiting from an innovation-driven new venture. Thinking about founding a startup or working in the startup world? This course is for you.
• 15.622/6221. The Law of AI, Big Data and Social Media; and Other Digital Tech
Hot Spots. John Akula & Lou Rodriques. Tu 7-8:30pm. 6 units. P/D/F. Planning a career or venture tied to cutting-edge digital technologies or analytics? This course is for you.
Practical advice from lawyers with hands-on experience. Syllabi and other info at bit.ly/LawAtSloanSp21<http://bit.ly/LawAtSloanSp21>
