Hi All,

We are excited to say that we are going to be hosting a Women's entrepreneurship Showcase virtual event - StemGems, which will be held on International Women's Day (March 8th, 2021).

We decided to hold this event because studies show that women face biases in the startup world, and oftentimes are overlooked when they are at showcases. This is unfortunate because when women get going, they create a lot of value. The purpose of this showcase is to celebrate the wonderful women entrepreneurs at MIT/ Wellesley. It will be an excellent opportunity to showcase your work, and also make new connections with stakeholders and potentially meet new team members.

We are looking for Startup teams in all stages to apply to our event. ​​StemGems is open to any current student teams (Undergrad, Masters and PhD level) with at least one founder from either MIT or Wellesley. At least 50% of the team must consist of female/ female identifying founders to participate in this showcase. Please submit your applications latest by Jan 31st, 11:59PM.
