Our deadline is approaching for our Jeffrey L. Pressman Award program for 2021 and Katherine Hoss asked me to follow up with you all and ask if you could send this notice out to your students for us. This program is for students of any major who would like to do an internship or research in U.S. government, politics, policy, law, or education. Here is the information and a link to the program information on our site, and I’ve attached a PDF with the application guidelines as well:


The Political Science Department at MIT is pleased to announce that the 2021 Pressman Award is now open for applications. The Pressman Award is named in honor of late faculty member Jeffrey L. Pressman, and is intended to support research or internships in U.S. government, politics, policy, law, or education. The Award includes a stipend of up to $6,500 to support the costs of research or internship in the above areas. I've attached the application guidelines to this email, and you can find more information at the MIT Political Science website:

Applications are due by midnight Friday, March 5th, 2021.
