OF THE LIFE AND LEGACY OF DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR.

Dear community members,

You are warmly invited to join your colleagues and other members of the MIT community at the 47th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration on February 10, 2021 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. This will be an online event hosted by President L. Rafael Reif.

The MLK program presents an opportunity for reflection as well as joyful celebration of the lived ideals of Dr. King in the MIT community. We hope that you will leave uplifted, informed, and energized!

Program information
The 2021 keynote speaker will be Ijeoma Oluo, author of So You Want to Talk About Race. Brief remarks will be given by MIT Biological Engineering graduate student Corban Swain, Urban Studies and Planning undergraduate student Mimi Wahid, and Open Learning staff member Lana Scott.
