Lyme disease is the fastest growing vector-borne infectious disease in the U.S. Given the growing prevalence, current unreliable diagnostic tests, and manifestation of chronic symptoms in many patients, there is a significant need for development of novel methods and technologies to tackle the disease on multiple fronts. Long Covid presents a similar need, on a global scale, with many people suffering from a range of chronic and autoimmune diseases caused by the infection.
