I’m reaching out on behalf of the 2022 MIT Energy Conference and MIT Energy Club. We are currently recruiting our leadership team for next year’s conference. Would it be possible to share the following blurb with students in your department?

This year’s conference will return in-person after a 2-year hiatus (location to be confirmed), and we’re also planning on a hybrid format to allow attendees to tune in virtually from around the globe. We’re looking to recruit a diverse team across multiple schools/departments to help plan and execute this conference. The 2022 conference will also expand its scope to include broader issues in the fight against climate change, both within and outside the energy sector. If you are interested in energy/climate action and would like to be part of the phenomenal team behind the premier student-run energy conference in the world, we highly encourage you to apply! Some of the perks of being involved with this conference include interfacing with industry executives and building a network of like-minded individuals from across the MIT community as well as the Greater Boston area.
