Professor Ray Reagans. 6 Units. Pass/Fail Grading
Wednesdays, 7:00PM- 10:00PM
As this is a heavily discussion-based course, students must attend synchronously
This course is an introduction into diversity and community. The class is motivated by two basic ideas. The first idea is we can accomplish more together than alone. The second idea is very often a significant part of who we are as individuals is left out of most organizational settings. We often lack the tools and frameworks for dealing with the wealth of diversity among us and the value diversity could potentially create. The absence of basic frameworks and tools undermine our ability to accomplish more together. The goal of this course is to address both issues. Diversity as a discovery process. As we learn more about other people, we can also learn more about ourselves.
