Greetings,
I am pleased to announce the Duke Science & Society Leadership Award<http://a.insgly.net/api/trk?id=emailclick&i=664452&eid=147058983&url=https%3a%2f%2fscienceandsociety.duke.edu%2fleadership-award&env=https%3a%2f%2fcrm.na1.insightly.com> for the Duke Master of Arts in Bioethics & Science Policy program<http://a.insgly.net/api/trk?id=emailclick&i=664452&eid=147058983&url=https%3a%2f%2fscienceandsociety.duke.edu%2flearn%2fma%2f&env=https%3a%2f%2fcrm.na1.insightly.com>. The award will be made to outstanding students who demonstrate great potential to become leaders in making scientific advancements and technological innovations more accessible, just, and better integrated into society.
We are seeking assistance from university leaders such as yourself to promote this opportunity and to nominate students. You have received this announcement based on your role advising students who may be interested in a career in science and tech policy.
The Duke Master's in Bioethics & Science Policy teaches students how to identify, analyze, and propose solutions to myriad complex issues at the intersection of science, technology, ethics, and policy. Our curriculum is distinct in its focus on bioethics and science policy, rather than bioethics or medical ethics alone. Today’s world of rapid progress in the sciences and technology has seen an increased demand for professionals with expertise in the ethical and policy implications of an increasingly broad range of scientific and tech areas. Our broader focus provides a unique education, opens more opportunities to graduating students, and prepares students to meet an ever-growing need in society.
If you have questions, please don’t hesitate to email us at scienceandsociety at duke.edu<mailto:scienceandsociety at duke.edu>. We hold informational webinars<http://a.insgly.net/api/trk?id=emailclick&i=664452&eid=147058983&url=https%3a%2f%2fscienceandsociety.duke.edu%2flearn%2fma%2fadmissions%2fma-info-session%2f&env=https%3a%2f%2fcrm.na1.insightly.com> for students and advisors regarding the Duke Masters program and the Leadership Award.
Thank you in advance for helping us find outstanding candidates. I hope you agree this is a wonderful opportunity to highlight the achievements and enrich the potential of a future leader in science and tech policy.
Sincerely,
Madeline Liddicoat
