Dear Colleagues,

If you are comfortable with this, please consider adding your name and relevant information.
This email is not an endorsement, just information to enable everyone who wants to be aware and be able to participate. Also, it is fine to circulate this to relevant groups.
Sincerely,
Alan

Hello Dr. Grossman,
My name is Dr. Michael F. Wells from Harvard University and I recently began organizing US-based scientists who are interested in using their lab expertise to help combat the COVID-19 outbreak at the local level. As part of the effort to build a database of scientists and their skill sets, I kindly ask that you help distribute this Google form link throughout your network: https://forms.gle/AfNRutWQMMKhUKLe9
Thus far, nearly 1,900 scientists from 45 states have signed-up. Their contact information will only be shared with local organizations, state health officials, and hospitals or universities looking to expand their near-term testing capabilities. This database has already been made available to state health department officials in Massachusetts and North Carolina.
Finally, if you or your colleagues are aware of an organization or entity that would benefit from having access to this list of motivated and highly-skilled scientists, please feel free to share my contact information with them. Thank you for your time.
