Dear Students,

See below for information from the UROP office on leading a tour of your UROP lab during CPW.

Note: *If you are interested in leading a tour you would need to have approval from your direct supervisor and the lab PI. It would also be a good idea to correspond with your lab as a whole, to narrow down times and the number of students who sign up for the tour, so that tours do not become excessive as to distract from the work going on in your lab.

Subject: Sign-up to Lead a UROP Lab Tour During CPW!

Greetings,

UROP is assisting the MIT Admissions Office with preparations for Campus Preview Weekend (CPW) and would like to introduce prospective students to the myriad of UROP opportunities available at MIT through a series of UROP lab and departmental tours.

Since UROP is one of the keystones of MIT's undergraduate education; we hope you will offer a lab tour to give our prospective students a sense of the exciting research opportunities that may be available to them.

UROP CPW Tours may be held on Thursday, April 16, between the hours of 10am & 5pm, and/or on Friday, April 17, between 9am & 10am or again between 11am and 5pm. Tours generally last between 15 and 30 minutes, but may last longer.

Please go to the CPW website to sign-up to lead a UROP tour no later than March 27!

Register here: https://community.mitcpw.org/?page_id=219

If you need to modify or cancel your event, or if you have any questions, please email cpw at mit.edu<mailto:cpw at mit.edu>.

Thank you,

UROP & Admissions Staff
