Subject: Genomics Research Opportunity at Boston Children's Hospital
Hello,
Boston Children’s Hospital’s Cohort Study project is looking for students who are interested in learning more about genomics and pediatric rare diseases. You will work with data from a large cohort of thousands of patients from 15 rare diseases, including pediatric inflammatory bowel disease, epilepsies, and congenital sensorineural hearing loss. Students with strong computer science skills or background in Python and R are encouraged to apply. We are accepting positions for post-baccalaureates as well as for summer students. Summer students may have the opportunity to continue to work part time through the school year. To apply for both post-baccalaureate or summer tracks, please visit the BCMP Summer Scholars Program<https://www.scholars.hms.harvard.edu/> and submit an application. As you submit, please indicate your particular qualifications and interests as well as which track you are interested in. To learn more about this opportunity or if you have any additional questions, please email Dr. Shira Rockowitz at shira.rockowitz at childrens.harvard.edu<mailto:shira.rockowitz at childrens.harvard.edu>.
Best,
Anna Guo
