During our fully remote IAP this coming January, the subject “Patent Law Fundamentals” (15.620) will be offered again, albeit on-line (via Canvas/Zoom).  Although offered in the Sloan School, this intensive introduction to patent law is designed for, and open to, undergraduates and grad students in all MIT departments.

I’m attaching a two-page course announcement and schedule of topics, and would appreciate your forwarding it to students in your department to whatever extent you believe would be appropriate. The subject is offered for credit (3 units G, graded P/D/F). As in the past, and in the spirit of IAP, listeners are welcome at any or all of the classes.  Because the classes are on-line, however, listeners are asked to register (as “Listeners”) this year in order to establish access to the Canvas/Zoom site.
