Dear Students and Faculty,

Registration Day is Today, Monday, August 31st.
Registration Information<https://registrar.mit.edu/registration-academics/registration-information>

Please schedule an appointment with your Biology faculty advisor <https://biology.mit.edu/people> .

Additional advising information:

  * Following your meeting with your advisor, after he/she approves your subject selections, you must go back into Websis to review and approve your selections
  * Students must choose "subject selections" prior to meeting with your advisor. If you have pre-registered, those subjects will appear already. You may edit those selections at any point after the Registration period opens on August 24th.

  * For students in course 5-7 and 6-7 only one advisor shows up on WebSIS, and it will be the course 5 or 6 advisor.
  * Course 5-7 and 6-7 majors are encouraged to meet with both advisors during registration. Either advisor can approve subject selections and add drops.
  * Students who have a double major whose primary major is in another department will meet with their primary course advisors for online approval. However, a meeting between these students and their Course 7 advisors during the registration period is encouraged.
  * Advisors can approve subject selections when a hold is present. However, a student cannot submit a registration form when a hold is present. To clear a hold, the student must visit the office(s) that initiated the hold.
