I hope you are safe and well in the midst of all that is happening in our world. I know this is not how you imagined your semester would end and the last few weeks may have left you feeling disappointed and displaced, in addition to a myriad of other emotions. Please know that our thoughts are with you and the greater MIT community as you navigate your “new normal” away from campus. With campus closures, evolving travel restrictions, and rapidly changing conditions, you may be wondering what this means for recruiting with McKinsey.

Rather than cancel our events, we have decided the best thing to do is to change all of our spring events to virtual formats. As a Firm we are prioritizing the health and interests of our colleagues, our clients and candidates, and the wider communities we work in. Although we are disappointed to not be able to meet you in person, we believe there’s no better way to get to know our firm than through the stories of our people and we look forward to sharing them with you virtually!

Perhaps you’re still getting settled and understandably need some time to adjust to your new surroundings. Please take all the time you need. You will not “fall behind” or “miss out” on opportunities. As your recruiter, I’m committed to helping you navigate the recruiting process and will be available for you whenever you’re ready to re-engage with us!
