Seeking student writing submissions: The Isabelle de Courtivron Prize

MIT’s Global Studies and Languages (GSL) seeks student writing submissions—creative or expository—on immigrant, diaspora, bicultural, bilingual, and/or mixed-race experiences for its annual Isabelle de Courtivron Prize.

* The winner will receive a $400 award.
* The winning submission will be featured on the GSL website.

Open to all MIT undergraduate students. Entries will be judged by a panel of faculty. The winner will be announced on April 10, 2019.

Deadline: March 6, 2019

Submission guidelines and past winning entries at mitgsl.mit.edu/writingprize<http://mitgsl.mit.edu/writingprize>.

Tell your friends, and good luck!

The Isabelle de Courtivron Prize was established to reward high-quality undergraduate writing (creative or expository) and to honor distinguished Professor Emerita Isabelle de Courtivron, a professor in MIT Foreign Languages and Literatures (now renamed Global Studies and Languages). The Prize was established on the occasion of her retirement in 2010 and is awarded on an annual basis.
