I am one of the organizers of ATHack, an assistive technologies hackathon at MIT wherein groups of students work with community members who are living with disabilities on assistive tech projects.

Would you be willing to share the information below with the students in your department about registering for the event?

We would sincerely appreciate your help.

All the best,
Jaya
TL;DR Register for ATHack<http://assistivetech.mit.edu/home.html> 2019 here<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd1exgH7fnhXyailPlDD-oqUiBsOnrRIjk7JeNWWg4OHCpzrQ/viewform>.

Do you like to code? Do you like to build? Do you want to help people with disabilities live more independently?

Register for ATHack, MIT's assistive technology hackathon!

At ATHack, teams of students are matched with co-designers from the greater Boston area who live with disabilities. Each student team works together with their co-designer to design an assistive technology solution to help the co-designer live more independently or do something they were previously unable to do. Learn more about past years' hackathons here.<http://assistivetech.mit.edu/home.html>

Timeline

February 11th: Meet the Co-Designers Dinner. Hacker teams meet the co-designers and choose who they want to work with.
March 2rd: AT HACK!!! All-day hackathon at Beaver Works with machine shop, 3D printers, food, and industry judges!
