Would you like a summer internship but are you having trouble finding the time to submit applications? Are you unsure of how to even begin your summer internship search? Are you getting lost in a black hole of job search websites?
Take advantage of CAPD’s February Internship Search Series. Designed to make the most of your time, these working sessions enable you to set achievable goals and make progress in your internship search. During the first 15 minutes, a Career Services staff member will demo a helpful internship search resource and provide an achievable goal for you to work towards in the upcoming week. You’ll spend the remaining 45 minutes of the session taking action to reach your goal.
Get started on finding the right research opportunity for you. Get started drafting outreach emails to labs of interest and hear about important points to include in your outreach. Infinite Careers Alumni Speaker Series: David Crist
Tuesday, February 26, 6:00pm to 7:00pm, 8-205
David, the VP for R&D at GSSI, will be speaking to students about his path from medical imaging to geospatial imaging. After working in medical technology, David came to MIT to study radiology (Course 22). An archaeology field trip to the Middle East changed everything, and when he returned to campus, he mastered out in Course 22 and pursued at PhD in EAPS. Since then, he’s focused on developing ground based radar, and has risen to the VP level at GSSI, based in New Hampshire. All CAPD events are open to MIT undergraduates, graduate students, postdocs, and alumni.
