Subject Line: Summer Opportunity: Global Startup Labs in Ghana or Uganda

Dear Students,
Interested in using your Life Sciences skills to promote innovation in agriculture in Africa?
I’m recruiting juniors, seniors and graduate students in Chemistry, Biology, Brain and Cognitive Sciences, Biological Engineering, and Chemical Biological Engineering to join Global Startup Labs <http://gsl.mit.edu/> instructor teams for GSL-Ghana and GSL-Uganda this summer. Global Startup Labs is one of MISTI’s flagship programs.
As an instructor, you will be part of a team of MIT students that will guide local university students to develop their skills in innovation and entrepreneurship. Your expertise in Life Sciences would enable you to help students assess ideas for agriculture-based startups. The program runs 6-8 weeks and is fully funded.
Please email me, MISTI-Africa Program Manager, if you are interested – arijaco at mit.edu<mailto:arijaco at mit.edu>
Many thanks,
Ari Jacobovits
