Founded to be the flagship conference specifically targeting the dialogue between undergraduates and key industry stakeholders, we aim to be the forum of exchange between the current and future leaders of finance. The inaugural conference brings together hundreds of students and industry professionals across the country with the purpose of creating critical conversations on the future of the economy, state affairs of financial technology, and how innovation is impacting all verticals of finance.
Sponsors and speakers come from Goldman Sachs, Two Sigma, General Catalyst, Acadian, Fidelity, UBS, and many others.
Happening during the annual MIT Undergrad Finance Conference, the Intercollegiate Stock Pitch Competition is an opportunity for undergraduates to showcase their investment research and presentation skills and pitch their investment theses to a panel of experienced hedge fund and asset managers. Apply here.<https://goo.gl/forms/SIkQ92wfM73LRA4x2> Extended Deadline: Sun April 21st<x-apple-data-detectors://5> and rules here<https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ARHLXgiUl-0anZvklrcQ8X3W1TIqE2oK/view>.
Each team may consist of 1 (individual), 2, or 3 contestants. Contestants should research and identify their best idea based on a rigorous analysis of the company fundamentals, similar to how the top private equity firms and hedge funds will conduct their analysis. This includes a critical assessment of the business quality, risk/reward dynamics, and other relevant factors. A panel of financial experts will judge each stock pitch and select 4 finalists, of which 1 finalist will receive a grand prize worth $500, and finalists will all receive a free ticket to the MIT Undergrad Finance Conference 2019. Attached to this email is a flyer with more detailed information.
