Subject: [ESP, Splash] Forwarding a teaching opportunity!

---------------------------------

Teach ANYTHING for Splash!

tl;dr: Register to teach <esp.mit.edu/sp18<http://esp.mit.edu/sp18>> anything you want to high schoolers for Splash by Friday 9/28! More info at <esp.mit.edu/teach/Splash/index.html<http://esp.mit.edu/teach/Splash/index.html>>.

Want to share your hobbies with others? Start a whirlwind of learning? Ever wanted to give a class like "Bird Basics" or "What's a Genome"?

If so, you should teach for Splash, November 17-18!

Splash is a two-day learning extravaganza for high school students, organized by the MIT Educational Studies Program. About 3000 excited students come to the MIT campus the weekend before Thanksgiving to take classes taught by the MIT community--namely, you! You can teach a class on anything you want, for as long as you want, and whenever you're free.

Visit <esp.mit.edu/sp18<http://esp.mit.edu/sp18>> to register your classes! For more information about Splash or ideas about what to teach, check out our website at <esp.mit.edu/teach/Splash/index.html<http://esp.mit.edu/teach/Splash/index.html>>.

On the other hand - have you ever wanted to take a cool Splash class, not teach it? Splash is offering a class observer program for MIT students to observe other Splash classes. You do not have to teach to take part! Let us know if you?re interested at <esp.mit.edu/observesplash2018<http://esp.mit.edu/observesplash2018>>.

If you have any questions, email us at splash at mit.edu<mailto:splash at mit.edu>.

Thanks,
Luke Shimanuki and Sarah Weidman
Splash 2018 Directors
