Communications Internship, Biology
Are you looking for a way to combine your passion for biology with your knack as a writer? Support the Biology department communications initiatives by building and helping to craft our department newsletters, creating surveys, performing communications-relevant research, and other communications tasks. You will also have the opportunity to strengthen your science communications skills with mutually agreed upon projects.
Fluency in biology and writing a must; basic HTML skills preferred.
Preference for academic year commitment; summer work a possibility. Requires 5-10 hours of work per work week; salary commensurate with skills and experience.
The application process is easy. Please send email to Vivian Siegel, Lecturer/Scientific Communications, vivians at mit.edu <mailto:vivians at mit.edu>, with the subject line “Communications Internship”. Include your resume or CV and one writing sample (non-technical paper, application cover letter, essay, blog, post, etc.).
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
