Please broadcast a lecture happening in Ashdown House on Nov 13th, Tuesday. Dr. Lourdes Aleman will give a workshop: Hacking your potential, Why your views on intelligence and talent matter for academic success? She will focus on evidence-based insights regarding neuroplasticity, motivation, and how cultivating a "growth-mindset" can improve our willingness and ability to face challenges in graduate school and beyond.

Date: Nov. 13th, Tuesday
When: 6:30PM-7:30PM
Where: Ashdown Hulsizer Room (Food will be served)

Speaker Bio:
Dr. Lourdes Aleman specializes in brining innovations to classrooms. At MIT, she helps faculties, postdocs, and students to implement best practices in their teaching endeavors, and at the same time try to understand the learning mechanisms of students. She is a founding member and currently research scientist in the MIT Education Group. Prior to her current position, she earned a Bachelor’s degree from Brown University and a PhD from MIT in biology.
