There are TWO upcoming events to celebrate the Persian New Year that are open to the entire MIT community! Flyers are attached and also below.

The first one is this Thursday, March 22nd, 2pm-3:30pm at the ISO and is co-sponsored by ISO and Persian Students Association (PSA). Every semester, the ISO highlights one or two holidays around the world, with the partnership of student groups. This will be similar to the Diwali event last October, where we co-sponsored with Sangam, the MIT Indian Student Association. Stop by to experience a taste of Iranian snacks and enjoy the music and history of Persia.

The other event is Friday, March 23rd, 7pm-11pm in Walker Memorial and is the PSA’s Annual Nowruz celebration, which will include food and performances.
