We’re piloting a new advising program this spring and as usual would like to open it up to all corners of campus.


To All MIT Students:

The MIT Innovation Initiative<https://innovation.mit.edu/> is piloting a student advising program in Spring 2018 would like to welcome all interested MIT students to apply to be trained as advisors. Innovation Mentors will learn everything there is to know about innovation and entrepreneurship resources on campus and will serve as advisors to others looking to know more.

The MIT Innovation and Entrepreneurship ecosystem<https://innovation.mit.edu/resources/> is vast and complicated, but mentors will get an inside look at all involved programs and learn about various pathways through the offerings. They will then be empowered to advise other students on their options and build networks of their own (with plenty of support from the Innovation Initiative).

These will be paid positions with an expected commitment of 5 hours per week.

All interested MIT students are eligible to apply. Student group leaders, experienced innovators and entrepreneurs, and enthusiastic newcomers are equally welcome. Simply send a resume or CV and a brief statement of interest to lizf at mit.edu<mailto:lizf at mit.edu> by February 9, 2018 to apply.
