The speaker for this event is Michael Allshouse. Michael joined the Northeastern University Mechanical & Industrial Engineering department in Fall 2016 as an Assistant Professor. His research interests include nonlinear dynamics, geophysical fluid dynamics, computational fluid mechanics, disaster response, and experimental fluids. His previous positions include Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Texas at Austin, Research Assistant at MIT, Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach at MIT, and Summer Intern at Raytheon.
