Subject: Seeking Undergraduates for Survey/Focus Group on Recruiting Processes
Date: February 15, 2018 at 4:57:53 PM EST

Hello,

GECD has volunteered MIT to participate in a survey of undergraduate students who are currently pursuing employment or have just secured employment. Would you mind passing the email below on to your group to see if anyone is willing to volunteer to take a brief survey and participate in a focus group next Thursday? Participants would get a $25 Amazon gift card! We would very much appreciate your help in getting the message out, as we would like to get a diverse set of student perspectives.

Thank you!

Hello,

Scott Resource Group, a university recruitment consulting firm, has been commissioned by a consortium of five leading employers [Altria, Eaton, Enterprise, General Motors and KPMG] to conduct a survey and focus group at MIT as part of a national study to measure students' perceptions and opinions of “high touch” and “high tech” recruitment practices and tools. We need 10 (ten) students who are currently pursuing [or have secured] intern or full-time employment to participate in this project, which will be held on Thursday, February 22nd at 4:00pm in room 4-146. The focus group will last no more than one hour, and, assuming completion of a separate electronic survey that can be filled out at your convenience, you will receive a $25 gift certificate redeemable at Amazon.com<http://amazon.com/> following the closing date.

Please be assured that this survey is completely confidential. Scott Resource Group will report focus group commentary and survey findings to the survey sponsors only in aggregate form. No individual responses will be revealed. Participation will be awarded on a first-to-reply basis. Please respond to this email if you are interested in contributing to the ‘Recruitment High Touch/High Tech’ study. Thanks.

Best regards,
Bryan
