Re-create Experiments from History: Inform the Future from the Past
Monday Wednesday Friday, 1pm-5pm.  First session Wed. Jan. 9.  Additional sessions to be determined in coordination with class members’ schedules. Last session Feb. 1
 Look at the world with fresh eyes. Experience its wonder.
Journey through the history of science.  Follow in the footsteps of explorers through the ages, such as Euclid, Archimedes, Galileo, Ben Banneker, John Dewey.  Explore the world for yourself through hands-on collaborations and observations.  Let your curiosity and creativity drive your own discoveries.
Past projects include: following shadows in space and time; printing with type; watching the night sky by eye and historical means; making educational/music videos; uncovering physical effects underlying historical discoveries; re-enacting historical science and drama, paper marbling…
