• Tutoring: You will be responsible for arranging your own tutoring hours. I will publish your email address and students will contact you directly. It is your responsibility to respond to each and every student email, even if you do not have the time to meet with them. Please keep a record or the students and the time spent with each using the Weekly tutoring Roster. Turn the roster in to me each week and I will approve your hours.
• Confidentiality: In all your interactions with students in the course, you must respect their confidentiality. You may not discuss a student's performance or personal situation with anyone except the professors, instructor, and TAs associated with 7.012. We request that you notify us if you are grading the work of any close personal friends. Information about a student should not be shared with the other tutors and graders. If you have any problems, questions, or concerns about your work please see the course instructors.
• Responsibility: You are required to respond to all inquires regardless of availability. You should support student as your schedules allows above or to give advance notice of your absence. You are also responsible for filling out the Weekly tutoring Roster that will be approved by the course instructor. If you are unable to fulfill the responsibilities of tutoring, please notify the course instructors ASAP so accommodations/arrangements can be made.
Note: If you are tutoring a group of students for a specified time you should loin your tutoring hours only once for that group I.e. if you tutors 3 students together as group for 2 hours you should login 2hrs and NOT 6 hrs.
