Dear Biology undergrads,
Are you looking for an extraordinary research opportunity for the coming academic year? Would you like a chance to perform cutting-edge research on the human microbiome – the ecosystem of microbes that live in and on our bodies? If so, apply to the SuperUROP program hosted by the Center for Microbiome Informatics and Therapeutics!

Microbiome SuperUROPs perform research with an emphasis on translational applications of microbiome science, become active members of the Center’s community, and benefit from additional mentorship to develop their scientific skills. Last year’s SuperUROPs have begun publications and received job offers based on their work.

This year, we have a variety of both wet-lab and computational SuperUROP projects being offered by microbiome labs at MIT, MGH, the Broad Institute, and other excellent institutions in Boston-Cambridge – apply now!

Eligible Applicants: All MIT undergraduates with previous research experience.
