Subject: free student passes for ESA conference 4/18-20 in Boston
Greetings! I’m writing today to let you know that the Energy Storage Association (ESA) would like to extend an invitation to your students to attend our 28th Annual Energy Storage Conference & Expo<http://esacon.energystorage-events.org/> on April 18 - 20 at the Hynes Convention Center in downtown Boston, Mass. ESA is pleased to extend complimentary one-day conference passes to students possessing a valid .edu address and student ID, with the relevant registration info provided at the end of this email.
The theme of our conference (#ESACon18) is that energy storage is Proven and Ready for Business, with significant focus devoted to facilitating networking opportunities across all facets of the energy storage industry. The dynamic keynote roster features two prominent Massachusetts policymakers, with Governor Baker providing the opening address on April 18, and Commissioner Judith Judson (MA DOER) keynoting the morning session on April 19. The other conference keynotes feature US DOE Assistant Secretary Bruce Walker, Fluence CEO Stephen Coughlin, NYPA CEO and President Gil Quiniones, and Noel Zamot, the Revitalization Coordinator for the Federal Oversight & Management Board for Puerto Rico.
A full conference agenda is available here<http://esacon.energystorage-events.org/agenda/2018>. In addition to the insightful education sessions across 6 tracks, as well as the more than 150 leading industry speakers, attendees can access several pre-conference workshops on April 18, including an Energy Storage 101 workshop hosted by EPRI<http://esacon.energystorage-events.org/agenda/energy-storage-101>. Further, the Expo Hall features booths from over 80 industry representatives, as well as the inaugural Microgrid Exchange – featuring a live demonstration on the showroom floor.
Please consider extending this opportunity to your students (and only students, please) so that they may access a complimentary one-day pass to #ESACon18. I look forward to welcoming the next generation into the energy storage industry, and would be happy to answer any questions that you may have about the event. Registration information follows….
