Subject: Schwarzman Scholarship Information Session (4/19 @ 2pm)
The Office of Distinguished Fellowships is offering students the chance to learn about the Schwarzman Scholarship at an info session on April 19th at 2pm, located in 4-270. The information session will be led by Rob Garris from the Schwarzman Scholars Program.
The Schwarzman Scholars is a program designed to prepare future leaders to serve as intermediaries between China and the rest of the world by helping them understand China’s culture, economy, governance and evolving role in the world. Up to 200 Scholars chosen annually from around the world for this highly selective, fully-funded program will have an unrivaled opportunity to live in Beijing for a year of study and cultural immersion, attending lectures, traveling and developing first-hand exposure to China, its people and a global group of promising leaders. Scholars will study for a one-year Masters degree in public policy; international studies; or economics and business at Tsinghua University.
If you have any questions about the scholarship, send an email to Ian Murray <imurray at mit.edu<mailto:imurray at mit.edu>> to set up a meeting discussing the scholarship and opportunities related to it.
