Please join us for an evening of conversation with Dr. Shirley Ann Jackson, a trailblazing theoretical physicist and the first African-American woman to win the National Medal of Science and to receive a PhD from MIT.

The conversation will cover Dr. Jackson’s time as a student at MIT, her current role as President of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, her experiences as a woman of color in STEM, and everything in between.
Audience Q&A and light refreshments will follow.
