Designing Your Life
Monday, October 23rd, 10:00am – 11:30am, E19-202
Careers are ill-defined, "wicked" problems. Practice and take home valuable tools and questions to explore and develop a career that works foryou. Designing Your Life<http://designingyour.life/> (DYL) is a career exploration approach pioneered by Stanford design faculty, recently publicized in the best-selling book<https://www.amazon.com/Designing-Your-Life-Well-Lived-Joyful/dp/1101875321/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1503069924&sr=1-1&keywords=designing+your+life> by professors Bill Burnett and Dave Evans. This workshop will be led by MIT staff, who attended the first-ever DYL training at Stanford. This specific workshop is for PhD students. If you are interested in having a similar workshop with your department or student group, please email Jake Livengood at livngood at mit.edu<mailto:livngood at mit.edu>.
