The MIT Microbiome SuperUROP program is seeking applicants for the 2017-8 academic year. If you’d like an extraordinary research opportunity this coming year, apply for a chance to perform cutting-edge research on the human microbiome – the ecosystem of microbes that live in and on our bodies.

Listen to this year’s SuperUROPs give flash talks on research topics ranging from wild viruses to “Mucus the Peacemaker.” Learn more about the program and connect with microbiome researchers. Refreshments served.

PROGRAM DETAILS
Microbiome SuperUROPs perform research with an emphasis on translational applications of microbiome science, become active members of the Center’s community, and benefit from additional mentorship to develop their scientific skills. Previous SuperUROPs have begun publications and received job offers based on their work.

This year, we have a variety of both wet-lab and computational SuperUROP projects being offered by microbiome labs at MIT, MGH, the Broad Institute, and other top institutions in Boston-Cambridge – apply now!

Eligible Applicants: All MIT undergraduates with previous research experience.
