MIT Entrepreneurship and Maker Skills Integrator (MEMSI)
January 7-22, 2017 | Hong Kong | Shenzhen
APPLICATION DEADLINE FOR MIT STUDENTS: OCTOBER 2, 2016 @8pm EDT
Are you a maker? Do you love creating tangible products? Are you curious about what it takes to build a startup based on a product with both hardware and software components?
Join us for MEMSI (MIT Entrepreneurship and Maker Skills Integrator)!<http://memsi.mit.edu/>
MEMSI is a two-week long, fully immersive mini-accelerator for hardware system innovators from universities in Hong Kong and from MIT. It is held over IAP 2017. 15 students from MIT will travel to Hong Kong to join 15 students from local universities. They will form teams and work on a hardware/software startup, culminating in a business plan competition and prototype show-and-tell on Demo Day/Showcase.
Applications are open to currently enrolled undergraduate students (juniors and seniors only), as well as to all graduate students.
Apply now<http://memsi.mit.edu/>, or contact us at memsi at mit.edu<mailto:memsi at mit.edu> to find out more.
