Subject: New MS Program in Environmental Health Data Analytics at Boston University School of Public Health
Hello,
I am an associate professor at Boston University School of Public Health and a graduate of MIT (PhD, Biological Oceanography, 1998). We have a new Master of Science program in Environmental Health Data Analytics (http://www.bu.edu/sph/education/degrees-and-programs/ma-ms-programs/ms-eh-data/), of which I am the director. This is a relaunch of our MS program with a focus on a unique skill set in environmental data analysis and management strategies, with full-time degree completion in less than 12 months. These skills are highly desirable in environmental consulting firms, environmental NGOs and in government agencies, and could also position students for doctoral training. We are reaching out to potential applicants, and students in Biology with an interest in environmental health applications would seem potentially interested.

Master of Science in Environmental Health Data Analytics Harness the power of data analytics to protect the environment and improve public health.
We would certainly appreciate if you would let Biology undergraduate concentrators know about our new MS program. Along with the above link, a flyer is attached. We can provide brochures, if helpful.
Also, one reason why I was reaching out specifically is because there will be an MS program information session that will be held on Tuesday, October 25 at 6pm at 715 Albany Street on the BU Medical Campus (http://www.bu.edu/sph/admissions/events-and-campus-visits/events/). I also would be happy to chat with students over the phone or to schedule an in-person meeting to discuss the program.
