Are you a pre-med student? Interested in getting hands on experience this summer? MISTI Mexico has a great opportunity (all expenses paid for)
Health Brigades (6 week program)
Be part of a team of Mexican college students (from ITESM Cordoba) together with medical doctors and do routine medical checkups to low income elementary school children. Participants can apply theoretical concepts in a practical way, facing real scenarios with real data from the communities involved. Part of the program is to suggest recommendations and ways to detect further problems within the community.
