tl;dr: Spark 2016 teacher registration is open at esp.mit.edu/twinkly<http://esp.mit.edu/twinkly>. Teach middle school students anything you want! The final deadline to register is February 9 at 11:59 PM. More information is available at esp.mit.edu/twinkly-info<http://esp.mit.edu/twinkly-info>.
Teach ANYTHING For Spark!
Want to inflict your hobbies on others? Interested in inspiring young minds? Ever wanted to teach a class on Bird Basics, or possibly What's a Genome? How about Juggling, Pokemon, or Origami?
If so, you should teach for Spark on March 12-13!
Spark is a two-day learning extravaganza organized by the MIT Educational Studies Program, similar to our fall program Splash, but for middle school students. Over 1000 excited young minds come to the MIT campus the weekend before Spring Break to take classes taught by the MIT community--namely, you! You can teach a class on anything you want, for up to three hours, and whenever you're free. Teachers will receive free food and a free Spark t-shirt.
Visit <https://esp.mit.edu/teach_for_splash> esp.mit.edu/twinkly<http://esp.mit.edu/twinkly> to register your classes! For more information about Spark or ideas about what to teach, go to <https://esp.mit.edu/teach/Splash/index.html?src=dept> esp.mit.edu/twinkly-info<http://esp.mit.edu/twinkly-info>. If you have any questions, email us at spark at mit.edu<mailto:spark at mit.edu>.
Best,
Lucia Lam and Alexander Clifton
Spark 2016 Directors
