~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Introducing the new Minor in Design<http://architecture.mit.edu/architectural-design/news/new-design-minor-d-minor-launch-fall-2016> for MIT Undergraduates!
The Minor in Design (D-Minor) provides a hub at MIT where undergraduate students can learn core principles of design in dynamic studio settings, develop a sensibility for visual and physical form, and help contribute to new ways of designing that are applicable across a spectrum of discipline areas. The objective is to prepare students pursuing diverse career paths or further education in multiple areas, from product design to 3-D design to visual communication, and enable students to take advantage of emerging opportunities in industry and academia.
Through six specific subjects, the D-Minor introduces design  from concept to completion through contextual critical thinking, experimentation representation, and physical production techniques, critique, iteration and reflection.
