Exploring Careers in Consulting
Wednesday, March 4, 6:00-7:00pm
Organizations of all kinds – for-profit, non-profit, and government agencies – do not always have the expertise, time, or resources to address some of the challenges that they face. When this occurs, many organizations will hire a consulting firm to help them solve a problem or facilitate an organizational change. Are you considering a career in consulting, but you’re not exactly sure what that entails? Come to this panel to hear from MIT alumni working at some of the top consulting firms on how they got their start, what daily life is like, and recommendations for your job search.
Exploring Careers in the Federal Government

Have you ever wondered how you might use your degree from MIT in the Federal Government? Come hear from Jason Parman of the Office of Personnel Management to learn about the many opportunities available to students and recent graduates in both non-STEM and STEM fields. Jason will share information on navigating the many opportunities to find the right position, using the application system correctly, and planning your career in public service.
