The ER team has been working hard to offer a number of employer site visits in January for undergraduate students through PhDs. Two of these visits will be in NYC which is a first for GECD! We could use your help in spreading the word. The following is a message you can share with students or liaisons.

Still exploring careers? Curious to learn what a typical day is like for the NYPD Intelligence Department, a consultant, a gaming company, etc.? Sign up for a January employer site visit to expand your career options, knowledge and network with alumni, students and employers.

To register for the following visits, click on the links provided below or search for the visit in CareerBridge<https://www.myinterfase.com/mit/Account/LogOn?ReturnUrl=%2fmit%2fstudent%2f> under the "Events" tab.  When in “Events” filter for the date range of the visits to access the registration page. Please note that students are responsible for their own travel arrangements for these employer visits.

The NYPD's Intelligence Analysis and Cyber Intelligence Units are staffed by an elite cadre of analysts with backgrounds in intelligence, international affairs, economics, security,  policy and law. This visit will be taking place in NYC and is open to all students. Students are responsible for their own transportation to the visit. Deadline for registration is January 4th!

Join Accenture representatives and MIT alum to learn about a day in the life of an Accenture consultant. This visit will be taking place in NYC and is open to undergrads from freshmen to junior. Students are responsible for their own transportation to the visit. Deadline for registration is January 4th!

•         Demiurge Studios - Tuesday, January 12th 1-3PM<http:/>
Demiurge Studios is a hands-on, creative video game studio with a focus on bringing the fun. They've recently become part of SEGA Networks.  This visit is open to undergrad and grad students from all Courses.

•         BevSpot - Wednesday, January 13th 1-3PM <http:/>
BevSpot collaborates with the beverage industry to offer bar managers, beverage directors and sommeliers an online inventory management system. This visit is open to undergrad and grad students from Course 6.

•         Broad Institute - Undergrad Visit Tuesday, January 26th 9:15 - 10:45AM<http:/>
The Broad Institute is the world's leading biomedical research institute. At this visit you will learn about Broad's mission and hear from people in a variety of career stages within Broad's scientific community. This event is open to undergrads from Course 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 18 and 20.

•         DomeYard LLC - Wednesday, January 27th 5-7PM <http:/>
Domeyard is a hedge fund based in Boston, with a focus on extremely low latency trading.  This visit is open to undergrad and grad students from Course 6, 8 and 18.

•         Biogen - Thursday, January 28th 10:30AM - 12:30PM<http:/>
Biogen (NASDAQ: BIIB) is a biotechnology leader that discovers, develops and delivers innovative therapies. This visit is open to undergrads from all courses.

JetBrains makes some of the most intelligent and powerful IDEs on the market. Join JetBrains for a tour of the R&D facility in Kendall Square. This event is open to undergrad and grad students from Course 6 and 18.
