NYCEDC<http://www.nycedc.com/> is New York City’s primary engine for economic development, charged with leveraging the City’s assets to drive growth, create jobs, and improve quality of life. We are an organization dedicated to New York City and its people. We use our expertise to develop, advise, manage, and invest in order to strengthen businesses and help neighborhoods thrive. We make the City stronger.
The Center for Economic Transformation (CET) at NYCEDC develops the City's major business sectors by implementing policy and programmatic initiatives, creating good jobs, and promoting entrepreneurship and economic diversification across the five boroughs. We are looking for students from all different majors and backgrounds who have an interest in economic development, public policy, and our specific industry areas: healthcare and life sciences. Join us and drive New York City’s future.
Our existing projects run the gamut from new efforts to build clinics in medically underserved areas to a nationally renowned health tech innovation competition and from a $150M venture capital fund to support life sciences entrepreneurship/biotech to planning new laboratory spaces and incubators.
We’re looking for new, full-time project managers to join our team. Especially promising students will also be considered for paid summer internships. Come visit us at for our information session on April 1st from 7-8PM in 5-234. We’ll be available for questions after the information session in the same room. Last but not least, make sure to stop by the Spring Career Fair in Johnson from 11AM-3PM on April 2nd. Please bring a resume.
