PAID Campaign Jobs for Students- Working to Protect Public Health

Our current campaign is with MassPIRG to stop the overuse of antibiotics on factory farms. The overuse of antibiotics is becoming a real problem in this country. For instance, over 70% of all antibiotics sold in the United States are given to livestock, not sick people. This overuse has caused some antibiotics to stop working, making it harder for doctors to treat infections, like pneumonia. So MassPIRG is calling on the Obama Administration to stop the overuse of antibiotics on factory farms by building up grassroots support from constituents all around the greater Boston area.

We have both part-time and full-time positions available. The average salary comes to between $11-16/HR, and we can be fairly flexible with students’ schedules. Those interested can call our office at 617-292-4810<tel:617-292-4810>, or apply online at www.jobsforgoodcauses.org<http://www.jobsforgoodcauses.org/>.

Feel free to get in touch with any questions that arise.
