LOGO DESIGN COMPETITION





Program Overview:

MIT Anthropology has recently created a new Global Health and Medical Humanities Initiative (GHMHI) led by Professor Erica James and housed within the School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (SHASS).  GHMHI was established in 2014 in order to combine critical examinations of contemporary global health topics with classical approaches to the medical humanities through a number of courses, extracurricular activities, analyses of best practices in global health education, and collaborative interdisciplinary research, in order to build community and capacity among MIT faculty, students, and staff members who are engaging these topics.



Competition Details:

GHMHI needs your help to design a logo!  The logo must be an original, graphic design created by an MIT undergraduate student.  The logo will appear on the GHMHI website and all future printed materials that will be developed in the coming months in support of this new Initiative.



The undergraduate student whose original design is selected will receive a $250 cash prize!!!



Competition Deadline:

Entries must be submitted to Brittany Peters, the GHMHI Administrative Assistant, via email at bapeters at mit.edu<mailto:bapeters at mit.edu> by 5:00 pm on Monday, September 29, 2014.  All submissions will be reviewed and the selected logo design will be announced by October 3, 2014.
