The Biology Undergraduate Student Association (BUSA) presents its annual Howard Hughes Medical Institute Lecture with Dr. Robert Lefkowitz, James B. Duke Professor of Medicine and Professor of Biochemistry at Duke University Medical Center, and the 2012 recipient of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry.
Dr. Lefkowitz is best known for transforming the understanding of the G protein coupled receptors (GPCRs), and establishing them as the first members of the family of proteins referred to as the Seven Transmembrane Receptors (7TMRs).
When: Thursday, March 13th, 4-5pm
