Dear all,

Good news! The MIT Ventureships Club is providing a great opportunity for you to gain experience in both entrepreneurship and leadership!

Every semester, our club works with MIT Venture Mentoring Service to launch a Ventureships Program. In this program, we interview and select 4~5 early stage MIT start-ups as well as 10~20 MIT students. The students will work very closely with the CEOs on market research, fund raising, technology development, etc, all of which essential to the start-up.

Recent updates from our club in 2013:
One Phd student in Spring 2013 Program helped the start-up raise ~$200,000 from a Chinese venture capital. In the summer he became a co-founder of the start-up.
One undergraduate in Fall 2013 Program proposed an improvement in the product device, and saved ~$100,000 for that start-up.

As the Spring 2014 Ventureships Program is approaching, we are recruiting new members into our executive board.

Position Info And Requirements:
1) we are looking for 4~5 new members, and according to club regulation, new member will start as Program Coordinators.
2) the applicant should now be at MIT, either an undergraduate, graduate, MBA or postdoc.
3) Program Coordinator description:
a) Will join a team in the Ventureships Program and work on the CEO's project together with other students in the team. 3~5 hours/week.
b) Will coordinate the students and CEO in his/her team as the representative of the Club.
c) Responsible directly to the President.

d) Can take on other positions such as Treasurer, Vice President, Publicity Director, etc.
e) Will be present in the video of the Club, which will be posted in all our promotion tools.
f) Will get a certificate at the end of semester.
g) Possible opportunities to be further involved in the start-up he/she works with.
